We did not originate all from Adam and Eve.

Charles Darwin's theory of evolution for most Christians is against what the Bible says.

I think otherwise and believe the theory of evolution tries to some extent with the creation story of the Bible about humans. I will plead with all reading this to agree not to disagree that God transcends space and time as we know it and the creation story of 6days is what we humans know today as about a 13billion-year-old universe and 4.5billion-year-old planet Earth.

Ask yourself that why would the earth be this old and humans scientifically originated about a million years ago? This question finds its answer with the theory of evolution put forward by Charles Darwin. Late Stephen Hawking and other top scientist have come to conclude that the universe had a beginning and we as humans have no evidence of what it was like before this beginning so we cannot completely refute the creation story of the Bible even though we can question it's interpretation as I have explained below.

Religious people have often interpreted Genesis creation story especially that of us originating from a single man and woman. To this, I completely reject and even go further to say Darwin's theory seems the right path God took to create humans and other animals. How do I come about all this? The first time man is mentioned in the Bible (plural) as below,

1). Genesis 1, 26: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Bible (KJV) https://goo.gl/BNTEmZ

Now, why would God be saying make them? This question is not always answered but some are quick to point to the fact that Adam and Eve were just two individuals which I have come to conclude that these two were just the ones God had chosen among all created to fulfill his plan as Christians believe. Why choose these two? Some may ask but why not also ask why did he choose Noah, Abraham, Moses, etc. This is because he chooses those with whom he wants to fulfill his mission. Well, that's not even the point, listen to Cain,

2). Genesis 4, 14: Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hidden; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me. Bible (KJV) https://goo.gl/BNTEmZ

Why will Cain say everyone that findeth me shall slay me? Which other people? his parents? Not at all. Now pastors and priests will tell you that the Bible cannot be interpreted literally but this is not an interpretation but rather pointing out what is written down for all to see. Do you not still believe me, then read on then

3). Genesis 5, 2: Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. Bible (KJV) https://goo.gl/BNTEmZ

These 3 verses or points bring us back to Darwin's theory because only Evolution can explain how supposedly God went about it. Why did humans evolve just about a million years ago? when the universe had become stable and planet earth was ready for them to come and dominate (i.e. conditions were right for the existence of humans). Of course, evolution was going on and which to me is the process God of the Bible left for our brains to ponder and come out with.

To me the Bible is not a science book but offers insights to where some of our scientific exploits may lead to and that book is merely interpreted wrongly. We are at this point with little or no clue to where we came from or where we are going and as a scientist, I don't think we disregard any thing that can give us a clue.
