Acha played with cryptocurrencies and loved them.
Hello, thanks for joining me once more. I hope you and your circle are doing alright. I'll keep this cryptocurrency talk very short, as everyone is always in a rush to scroll to the next captivating and enticing thing while on the internet. A lot has been said and done this year and a lot remains to be said and done. But, have you paid particular attention to cryptocurrencies? Have you heard of Blockchain (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pl8OlkkwRpc), or Bitcoin (BTC)? Ether(ETH)? etc. I'm confident you have. They all gained global attention this year.
Again, have you paid attention? If you have been paying attention, then you might know that this is the next big thing. It is already a big thing for those who have been following since 2009. Yes!these are currencies, and not like the typical currencies because these ones exist only digitally (you cannot touch them physically), there're decentralized (though not all) and cannot be manipulated by governments and central banks (my best part haha). Below, I share with you how this digital money is transformational. Sip a coffee and read on.
You might not hear a bank manager talk positively about cryptocurrency, likewise government officials. The government and politicians like the idea of printing money and manipulating interest rates and markets. However, something that takes away this power from them is seen as a threat and must be exterminated. They try all the time to do away with crypto and contribute to high volatility in the crypto market. However, crypto being crypto offers just about any person the possibility to make profits if properly understood. And the public just cannot let go of crypto. They see a drop in price as an opportunity to buy more. Thus, the prices of these currencies always find a way to come back higher than their previous highs something referred to as an all-time high (ATH).
A short story, I used to hear about blockchain technology back in 2014, but never really paid attention. Then came 2015-2016 when I began hearing about Bitcoin. Then, I didn't pay attention either. Behold, during the lockdowns of 2020, I saw my sources of income (9-5 jobs) dry out in a flash. Then, I began to find alternative ways to make money and finally bought some courses on Udemy on Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. Before the first course was even over, I already bought $200 worth of bitcoin just as a trial. The market fluctuated and I saw my stock dwindle up and down. Finally, I sold it at a profit of $10. Because I now understood what blockchain was about, I went ahead and read every white paper, article, post, comment, etc on cryptocurrency. Then full of confidence, I bought only $600 of Ether (ETH) on Coinbase (a crypto broker) and before the week was over, I was $200 in profit just by holding it. All my bank savings have never yielded an interest of $50. Now you know where most of my money is hedged haha.
Keep aside the security of your savings account, what else is there? No risk no reward they say. I'm not offering financial advice here because I know nothing. However, I'm just saying, the banks and exchanges are ripping us apart. Blockchain offers enormous utility be it in banking, logistics, voting, entertainment, information storage, and processing, etc. Think about it, the greatest money transfer in history was performed on blockchain in the space of 3 minutes without intermediaries like banks. I now send cryptocurrency in a minute to someone on another continent with minimal to no fees at all. The best thing is crypto is very liquid as gold. In a flash, you can turn it into cash anywhere in the world.
The metaverse is on the horizon, and I'm sure you must have heard Facebook changed its name to Meta. Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are the new deal and every big corporation wants a piece you can get yours just by being curious, inquisitive, and learning. The grass ahead is greener and without money, we can keep learning and gathering information for you can transform information into money these days. There's no limit to what we can achieve. I'm learning, are you gonna learn too? or just complain and do nothing :)
Thank you for arriving here. Now let's go buy some Bitcoins
